SEOUL -- South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol's approval rating fell 2 percentage points over the week to 31 percent this week, a weekly poll showed Friday.
The negative assessment on Yoon's conduct of state affairs gained 2 percentage points to 60 percent, according to local pollster Gallup Korea. (South Korea-President-Approval Rating)

TOKYO -- The number of centenarians in Japan totaled 92,139, hitting a record high for the 53rd consecutive year, official data showed Friday.

ISLAMABAD -- One soldier and three terrorists were killed in a check post attack in Quetta, the capital of Pakistan's southwest Balochistan province, an army statement said on Friday.
