Ambassador Kikuta stressed the importance of young students reading good books to promote spiritual growth. He hoped that the Japanese-flavored books would broaden their minds.
The Nippon Foundation's "Read Japan Project" provided the books. Since 1975.
"We would be delighted if these books help Nepalese students learn about Japan and the Japanese way of thinking. Of course, we would welcome any student interested in studying in Japan because of reading these books," said the Ambassador.
