NATO soldier murdered by gunman in Afghan uniform

NATO has announced the death of another soldier at the hands of a so-called ally.

On the weekend, a man dressed in an Afghan National Army uniform opened fire on coalition soldiers.

One of the soldiers, who had been serving in southern Afghanistan, was killed in a barrage of bullets.

Coalition forces quickly returned fire, killing the rogue gunman.

There have been numerous attacks on international troops by gunmen wearing Afghan uniforms.

NATO also revealed says one of its soldiers died in a bomb explosion in eastern Afghanistan on Sunday.

No further details have been released.
